A January Trip to WDW
Hello and welcome to another post of castle to kitchen. Connor here with you today talking about our January trip to Disney. We did an epic day of three parks in one day! We ended up going to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.
We started the day in Hollywood studios where we rode Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway which is a great family friendly ride. Gigi’s favorite treat to start the day in any Disney park is the double chocolate muffin from Joffrey’s, pictured below.
Fun fact: Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway is the first ride in Disney World to ever feature Mickey and Minnie mouse.
After that, we grabbed some yummy treats. If you’re ever in Hollywood Studios, Jack Jack’s num num cookie at the Marketplace in Pixar Place is delicious!
Mom and Dad went for a more sophisticated snack with the Brisket Bowl over at Fairfax fare. Brisket on top of mashed potatoes and corn chips in a WAFFLE BOWL. Brisket isn’t my thing but they said ti was delicious and I must admit that it looked pretty good.
We also watched Indiana Jones stunt spectacular and Muppet vision 3-D both very great shows. Then after we had finished Hollywood Studios, we took the Skyliner over to Epcot to have lunch.
We went to Biergarten which is a German all you can eat buffet with entertainment, such as singing and music from German musicians. The food was quite good; my favorite was the schnitzel, which I will definitely try to recreate at home! We also liked the potato pancakes and my parents went nuts for the desserts. Pictured below is the salted caramel pretzel cheesecake and the apple streudel. I have a feeling we will be back to Biergarten again.
Then after we had lunch in Epcot, we went to Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks and ride a couple of rides. All in all it was a great trip and I still can’t believe that we did three parks in one day!
