50s Primetime Cafe

Hello and welcome to another blog post on Castle to Kitchen.  Connor here today and we will be talking about the 50s Prime Time Cafe. I had never even been to this restaurant before and now I love it.

This restaurant is themed like eating in mom’s kitchen in the 1950s.  Their food is like eating in mom’s kitchen like fried chicken and meatloaf.  It is heavy food, but as Guy Fieri says, it is a flavor bomb.  Everything is very delicious, but my highlight of the restaurant was the Peanut Butter and jelly milkshake.  It might sound a little weird, but it is so delicious.  My dad and I went there together and we had a chocolate milkshake and the PB&J milkshake to start which were both excellent but I liked the PB&J better.

For the main course, we split “A sampler of moms favorite recipes” which contained Golden Fried Chicken, Fork Tender Pot Roast and traditional meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans sautéed in onions, garlic and oil so it doesn’t taste like a green meanie.

This meal was probably one of the best meals I have ever had in Hollywood studios so I strongly recommend this restaurant for the whole family.

Be on the lookout for our recreation of the PBJ milkshake coming soon!
